try putting 12 volts to the trip on the starter solinoid to see if the starter will engauge, if that works , check your #2 fuse under nieth the dash, "starter fuse"
also if you are doubting your grounds, use another car and place the neg jumper cable on lets say your header, or something of the sort.
Good Luck

try to push start it, if it starts up then it has to do with your starter, if it doesn't start then i guess something else is not right. Also, there are 2 wires hooked up to the starter, check if they are put on correctly, and the last thing would be by the clutch pedal there is a sensor and when the clutch is depressed all the way it pushes that sensor up which will allow the starter to start thats what happend to my bro's hatch.

easy way to check for this:
turn the key on and then put 12v to the starter relay (little black wire on the starter). if thats your problem this will tell ya.
oh and dont forget to put it in neutral
yea if the little plastic puck broke at the top of the clutch pedal you will get nada but have little pretty chunks of plastic on your floor.
my cr-x did this to me, we just swapped in the engine, everything hooked up, pressed down on the clutch, turned the key and got "silence" .
hope it is a $3 fix (well that is how much Honda charges for the little puck or you can be inventive) for you as well.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
