Default 03' Civic LX Sedan - Want 200hp - GSR Swap or ???

I've got a silver 2003 Civic LX 4-door. I put nice 17" wheels on it and tinted the windows. I like the way it looks and its just my daily commuter car to and from work. I've got 3 kids so the 4-door sedan is practical.

That being said, I'd like to hear my best option for upgrading the motor. I'm open to a complete engine swap if that is the best option. I'd like a solid 200hp/180lbs tq. This car has a factory auto trans too so please suggest any upgrades that may need as well. I need to keep the auto cause rowing a stick in traffic is a PITA. I drive 45 miles each way to work daily.

Let me hear your recommendations and what shops can handle the swap/mods. Estimate cost too if possible.

Thanks,

Ryan

why not get a honda odessy since yiu got three kids? a swap could get pricy, if that is not a problem +1 on the k20 rsxs motor or get a b-series and boost. quickest way to obtain your goal of 200 horses. just my opinion.

Yea, and NO honda will make 200hp/180ft-lbs, if you have 200hp you will be lucky to see 150ft-lbs

K20a is more of a direct swap. You would a have to get a rsx base auto tranny.

k24a2 I/H/E/tunning makes an easy 210/180s...(and a whole bunch of other head/block combos)

Keep the 4 door as your family car and buy a older lighter shell or hobby car. You don't want to have down time for your daily driver.
