Lets get one thing straight, you refering to a pr4, Im refering to a p28 auto, no I havent done my PR3 issue, Just wait big boy.....Move the jumper from R68 to R67 (both locations are to the left of the ROM), when in my obd1 situation "Remove RP17 and install a jumper across RP18" so if you have a ond1 ecu and just simply (juiced) do what you say it would work? Sorry big boy, 2 simply different platforms so to speak

Being a redneck from lehigh sometimes feels pretty good, Being a City boy and all..

we were talking about a obd0 PR3, there isn't any adding anything besides a socket and a chip. we go from talking obd0 to p28's and p72's?

p28's and p72's don't share the same board. WTF is your druken ass talking about? I do this all day. once a honda ecu has been socketed it dosn't matter if it's auto or manual. do I need to quote pgmfi.org?

As far as I was concerned ya, but you stated differntly. So your telling me that a usdm pr3 dosent need the jumper, where as ths jdm dose? Ive never done a usdm pr3, only JDM. from what it looks like you have. So I guess thats the deal then, right?

Is so, I have no shame in giving props where it due...

honda NEVER made a usdm pr3, have you ever heard of a 90-91 b16a? I'm just saying I've chipped jdm pr3's and pw0's, including a jdm auto pr3, and never had it throw the automatic tranny-lockup code.

then basically i think you are incorrect stating that if you chip an auto pr3, then and there far you have converted it to a manuel, , from what i have researched,the problem lies in the jumper config, as I HAVE STATED BEFORE, evan giving you a link.

All I can say if fuck it, I havent done it yet, but I will and then Ill comment, but from what you say youu have so, .............;
More power to ya Big Boy.
