idle on a 92 teg

i have a 92 teg with a b18b1 motor and manifold... i'm not throwing any codes but its not idling right... it idles at 1300 then it goes up to 2000 or more thenseconds later it goes back down to 1300...

does anyone no y it would do this...

check your air idle control vavle on teh back of the intake manifold sometimes that causes a engine to surge

tps might be bad throttle position sensor.

happend to mine the other day. for me it was as simple as a hose being disconnected. check and see that all the hoses to and from your intake manifold are conected. -greg

and sometimes it doesnt want to start and after alittle it starts..does any one no what could make it do that too

if the Intake manifold is off an automatic and you have a vacuum line ran to the EGR it will idle messed up.... Also has your CEL came on before ??does the Cel light up before you start it , if not check the bulb in your guage cluster.
