Default Headwork

What all can can you actually do to the head? As far as port and polish and all that. Every new peace. And multi angle valve jobs. How much does some of this shit typically run, because im fixing to get a gsr head for my ls crx to go ls vtec but want to build it up.

oversized valves, dual springs, valve job, shave the head, port and polish, port match both manifolds, aftermarket cams, cam gears.

Only have people who specialize in Honda head porting port your honda head. These heads flow great from the factory and someone who is not experienced in porting these can just as easily make it flow worse than better.

Be careful with oversize valves in an all motor engine because the valves can actually hit each other with big cams. In general only run oversize valves in FI apps.

Alot of the flow gains that are achived from headwork on a typical street head is accomplished in the valve job. Alot of money can be saved by going with a nice performance valve job and not a full port and polish. Clearwater cylinder head does excellent valve jobs.

head work port polish vavles resurface all those good stuff for 1k more or less. parts to build up the head equal more $$$$$ out of your pocket. example header, intake mani, throttle body, cams, cam gears, dual valvesprings & retainers, valve guides, vavle stem seals and all the other head seals and or gaskets.

Good thing i have all the time in the world to build this motor. i think im just gonna leave my crx ls and just buy a gsr head and block and then trick the fucvk out of the head and use the same turbo that im getting for my ls on the gsr. I CAN do that right?
My main goal for the next motor is about 350-375 hp without nitrous. im gonna do up the block too, but wanted to know how far im gonna need to go to support this application. thanks
