Actually I prefur the wastegate routed into the dumptube. For the extra 10hp, I'd rather have a car that doesn't set off car alarms. If I was building the car for racing, than I would have opted for a atmoshere dump, but for top down crusing I'll stick with the routed.

Why would it set off any car alarms?? The wastegate dump is only open when you are under full boost, so unless you are boosting through parking lots/garages, no alarms will go off...

LOL you tok me a little to seriously. My point was I don't want the car loud. I had a 97 GST that had an open dump and I hated it so much that I was constantly trying to stay out of boost. Guess I'm getting too old for the noise

With the WG re rout pipe being so short it shouldn't have any cracking problems. The heating and expanding will match the DP very closely. If the tube was a foot long or so then you'd need a flex.
