Rev issue, 92 cx
Im throwing a TPS and Evap, I have toned All wires from the clips to the ecu, and there all fine and in the appropriete place, Heres the deal, motor runs great idle is fine, but she wont rev past 3 grand, Swapped ecu, same result, I'm running in safe mode, but for what reason, evan when i reset the ecu, same deal, I swapped tps wires, the 2 outside wires I believe D20 and D22, same deal, I ohmed out the tps, I have my 5 volts,
Any suggestions.

I am sure you probably tried this, but you did check for 5 volts at wide open throttle from the tps as per the helms manual ?

ya Ian , 1 more little pain in my ass issue. Not that bad though.
Mtber, I did and it good, my other avenue I was gonna take was the ignitor?
And possible cut the jumper in my p72, but i did try a stock p28, and same result.
I was talking to kevin and he was quite surprised to hear about the evap code. He has never seen that.

Try another igniter. Are you running an external or internal coil?
