FOR SALE:
16" Tsw_Evor rims they are in MINT condition....mabe 1-3 scratches on them very clean...have nitto neo-gen low profile tires on them...with about 20-50 miles on them askin 300 or will trade let me know what u got need D16a6 parts

+2 on useless. take the block and put a z6 or y8 on there if you want. the z1 is the 12 valve vtec system. the motor runs on 4 intake and 8 exhaust valves or something like that. when vtec engages it locks the pin down to activate the 4 extra intake valves. making it into a 1.5 motor. basically a dx out of a del sol but with less compression.

doing a mini me to that motor would suck ass. the compression would drop to something like 7:1. the vx head is a 16v head that barley opens the 2nd set of intake valves till 2-2500rpm then it opens the 2 nd set of valves all the way . one thing you can try is taking that head and putting it on a b7 block and you would get about 13.7:1 compression and some damn good gas milage when cruising. or you can put the 1.6 liter pistons of your choice onto the vx rods and then slap a 1.6 vtec head onto that block. it has to be a vtec head cause as far as i know the vtec blocks don't have a spot for the oil restrictor to restric oil to head since on a vtec head the restrictor is in the head. i know for sure that the z6 and y8 blocks don't have a spot small enough to hold the restrictor jet. hope this helps some.

Is that complete motor swap worth $200 is the real q's? That's what im selling it for and he is contemplating buying it he just needs to know if it will be worth his time or money. Personally I think it is a damn good price but not something i would get into thats the reason im selling in the first place but for the complete swap $200 aint shit. Just my .2 though bump for you wanting to learn more info on the motor.

if he just wants it as a replacement motor it will be fine. as far as performance i say hell no. tranny has long gears (but the parts can be used for other stuff) and motor is not very performance oriented. the vx ecu also uses a wideband o2 sensor so he would need one of these as well and would need to wire it up to work properly.

thats the only thing not included is ecu and powersteering and ac but it comes with linkage motor tranny chikara header new ngk plugs and wires and it comes w/ mounts and axels.

if i was him i think i'd run a p28 and run a base map for uberdata or something so he doesn't have to mess with wiring in a p07 ecu. they can be had for damn near free though if you find one. like i said before, if it's for a replacement motor or spare motor it's a great deal if it's all in good shape. if i didn't already have a spare motor i'd pick it up from you.
