the question is not very clear. what exactly are you trying to do? are you putting a 98 ls in an obd1 car or are you wanting to convert your obd2 car to obd1?

you will have to rewire the dizzy AND get a conversion harness for the ecu.

you need to buy a obd0 to obd1 harness. You will have to use an obd1 dizzy, ecu, and a 4 wire o2 sensor which you should already have on the engine.

In regards to the OBD1 or OBD2 distributor, they are fudamentally the same. You can run an OBD1 LS distributor on an OBD2 setup and vise-a-versa. You must however, run an OBD1/2 distributor if you want to run the OBD1 ecu, unless you have an AEM and then you can reconfigure the box to run the pre-obd distributor.

What ecu harness connectors do you have? Go from there to the OBD1 ecu.

you need to buy an obd0 to obd1 ECU harness.

You need to repin your ENGINE HARNESS distributor plug to obd2 or obd1 depending on the distributor you have.
