depends on what type of system you have.

 

well....its for a 94 integra ls with abs... if that helps clear it up

 

probably a type 2,4,6,6 or a 7. Does it have a resivor on the module?

If your does remove the old fluid somehow with like one of those turkey basters. You will need a t wrench(i can get you the part number if you like) Maybe. I don't my wrench with me. Its usually in a special tools cabniet at work. When you open that cap sometimes it squirts out alittle brake fluild so watch your eyes or the paint on your car. You will need to relieve the pressure from the modulator. This is what the t wrench is for. Open it up like a little bit probably like a 1/4 turn. tighten the bleeder vavle. Let the fluild settle when you hook up the t wrench cause the pressure makes it foamy and you wont get a accurate reading. its important.

Then just refill it with honda brake fluild.

You need a alb checker. This is why i would take it to the dealer. Your suppose to. Its assurance your abs will work properly. But its up to you i guess. Since your probably going to do this in your garage. Your are suppose to do this like 3-4 times. O and after you get the fluid out with the t wrench and add new fluild start the engine so that the motor runs cycles the brake fluild in the system. Repeat this like 3-4 times. you should feel kickback on the abs. when you test drive it. I haven't done many abs modules. Its been awhile. I did one on my freinds integra ls awhile back.

 

there is those and then the type 8. I think those are in the newer veh. I don't pay attention. Never had to work on one yet. The type 8 would be like a little red cap its kinda flat on top. You should get a picture of what you have. Cause I don't work on acura.

you might have a compact abs module though. Which you just bleed the brakes normally. If your replacing the module its like a normal brake bleeding process. Just get all the air out of the lines. Same type of thing. hope this kinda helps. I haven't worked on abs to much. I wouldn't think its that complicating.
