i got a crx and the underdash harness was hacked so i replaced it, well now im not getting any power to the ECU, ive rechecked everything atleast 10 times and everything is hooked up correctly. my main relay is bad but i only thought that controlled the fuel pump, im wondering if that will keep the ecu from getting power, the only other thing im thinking is the only thing in the car that i havnt replaced is the engine bay fuse box, so im thinking maybe that could be bad for some reason, any help is greatly appreciated

 

ok i put the fuse box outta my other car in it and its still the same problem, so its either the main relay or the computer itself is bad, but i doubt the computer is bad,

 

check your underdash fushbox i think it is the first fush i pulled mine out and forgot to put itback it killed me

lol, i think that was the problem, but to top the night off my battery is dead so imma give it up for tonight and start back in the morning, well later in the morning, i keep forgetting its almost 4am

 

ok the fuses werent the problem either, im goin to test the ECU in my friends DA and then try to get another main relay, anyone else got an idea what it could be???

 

found the problem it was a bad ground, now to top everything off its throwing code 9 which is #1 CYP, so now i need to get a new distributor, lemme know if anyone has one for a decent price

how do you know its the distributor and not the wiring?

 

the car is an HF but the previous owner did a hack job on the wiring so i replaced everything, only problem is that it was all DX wiring, its converted right and everything, i got everything worked out now,
