are all crx si seats going to fit in 88-91 crx models? I just bought a really nice seat of si seats from a crx. Not sure what year. The rails don't line up. I double checked everything to make sure its right and its not. They don't line up at all. its going into a hf crx. Iam also without seatbelt buckles. Can anyone help me out fast?

no 88 89 are different thay are not with a red stich but of course can make anything work

 

Jamin, Id love to help you out right now, but Im a little dissapointed in you. I have all the recourses you need to be able to put those si seats in your hf. But seeing how you didnt tell me you had bought some when i saw you at work today, i choose not to help.

88-89 i believe 89? any who they have the seatbelts like a reg. civic, the 90-91 have the seatbelts made into the door/panel...therefor the seats are obviously different...i had this same problem, only i had an 88SI...tried to put 91SI seats in thinking ok there both SI's why wont they work? then i dawned upon me the difference...maybe this helps you maybe not but just my .02 cents...

 

does help me. So what did you do? They don't line up with the hf seat bolt holes. I have seat belts that go in the door. I need the crx 91 si's then? These are from a older crx cause they have no buckle on the seat.

 

For sounding like such a smart guy MIKE, your "recourses" are hacks. I don't want my seats glued or nailed or zipped tied to the floorboard.

been there before,what u do is use the 88 seat rails & pan from your car & install them on to the new seats,un do the clips from the bottum of the seat & re use with zipties
in a nut shell~

 

tossed my old hf seats with the rails. I have no idea who would be selling 91 crx seat rails. Maybe buy new? Scott? do they line up perfect using the hf seat rails?

 

o and what did you do with the seat belt buckles? I notice a spot on the sidewall area on the ebrake side area. There are two cover gromets there. Have not taken them out yet. But iam image thats where the seatbelt buckles would go? Probably just buy those new also.
