K20a or H22a type S
k swap has alot more potential and in a small chasis it also keeps down the weight and you can keep ac w/ an EP3 pulley and belt check out evanstuning.com i think he just boosted his oem k swap and made like 350whp and outrageous torque on 10.5 pounds just my 5 cents worth of info

i dont have power steering anyway.....
The motor in the tsx(k24a2) has basically the same head as the type s. So there would be no need to swap the type s head on there. The k24a3 is the motor that you would need to swap heads on. You can find these in the crv and accords. The k24 in the crv would be the one to get, because it does not have the egr crap that the accord has.The k24a3 can be had for cheep, real cheap. Then just find you a type s head and there you go. It all depends what you are going to be doing to the motor later on down the road. Here are some specs on the k motors

If you were going with the K-series, dont go with the k20a2(02-04 rsx-s), get the k20z1 which is the 05 type s, it is a better platform to start with, it has type R cams to start out with... 10 more hp of the k20a2.

f you want a shitload of information check out www.clubrsx.com register and then look under hybrids and swaps to get all the information you need about doing a k series swap. Also, find info on the tsx block which is a very good idea in my opinion, not many people have done it.
