Default adding vtec

I have used a conversion harness before to add vtec ( and convert obd0 to obd1) in my crx when the b16 was added.

but now....

I am swapping in a jdm obd1 b16 ( original obd1 not converted) to my 93 dx hatch. since I will be adding vtec, and using a p28 ecu with hondata, I need to know what to do about vtec? I have the helm manual for the 93 civic that includes wiring for all the models. I imagine that I need to add the wires for the vtec solenoid and oil pressure sensor to the oem harness, but do I also have to tap off of the tach or is that wire already pinned into the harness. when I add these wires I would like to use the factory style connectors, so does anyone know where I could get just these 2 or 3 wires form ( don't care if they aren't color coded correctly) without paying an arm and a leg for the entire plug.

thanks.

i honestly cant remember which model is but i wanna say that model already has the vtec wired into the harness at the ecu, it just doesnt come out of the harness in the bay, i could be wrong but i think the cx is like this too.

PM 60-1ek he knows, or i will look later when i get home from work

on my b16 i just added the wires right in, mine had the pins already in it, look in the manual and fins which ones they are on your car.

im too tired from work and am ona dial up connection so it would take forever, ill get back to ya

I was thinking of asking jason to hook me up with a few but I figured if I could find some local then it would be easier than having them mailed. I'll also take a look at the pin out in the manual to see if it notes a different wiring for the dx compared to the si. I hope it's wired in, would the wires just be bundled to the rest of the harness for a few inches or would it go deep into the harness?

depending on your ecu,you may need to run a knock sensor,+the vtec ,oil press.
unless its chipped...I have a few pins for the the pin location on the harness if needed..

it's a p28 so no knock sensor, plus I am running hondata. I have found a good deal for a hasport vtec harness for a 92-95 dx, so if that goes well then it'll take care of the vtec.
