Food for thought...

Clevite bearings are made by a company who is one of 3 or 4 different manufactures that make the OEM honda bearings... They use the identical tri-metal structure, and have the same coating as a bearing you would buy from a Honda/Acura dealer... Also, the rod bearing are sized to the Honda brown size, which seems to be the most universal size...

In essence what I am saying is, when you buy Clevite bearings, you are buying OEM bearings which are just all the same size.....

There are numerous distributors for them on Honda Tech, and the price is usually the same as the ACLs... I believe I paid about $115 shipped for mains, rods, thrust washers, and plastigage...

Looks like ACL's will work fine for your motor. Buy them from Earl, you may find them a little cheaper elsewhere but you won't find another guy who is willing to actually talk to you on the phone and offer his years of knowledge and advise even if you are not buying from him. Support the few good people left in this industry.

Back to the bearings just plastigauge them and make sure the clearances work out. If one or two is out of spec you can always replace those with oem's.
