i have a date with a nice little 4 door EF at the junkyard tomorrow... the guy is giving me the 3 spoke steering wheel, gauge cluster with tach, dash clock, center console, rear speaker pod w/ speakers and power locks for only $50! all parts are in mint condition... my question is that i have the standard model hatch with dp fuel injection... would i get any power gains from swapping ecu's if its an LX or DX? the guy only wants like $10 for it so i figured why not? im not switching to MPFI b/c i plan on doing an LS-T swap towards the later part of the summer and its just a waste of money and time in my eyes... thanks a lot for the help

you need more gas mpfi is the best start 2 shitty injectors are not making the motor happy thats why it has no topend power

 

itll give you all the power you want,as long as its will power,to install all the bs for nothing

 

haha thanks... i was just wondering if i could get any power out of the ecu alone since i could get it for so cheap... as mentioned above i dont want to spend very much money on this motor due to it being gone in a month and a half or so... anyone know any other ways to get some cheap power out of this thing? lol thanks for the help guys
