Default axles
Hey guys what's up.. i have a 93 prelude si, and i bought it pretty recently took it to the track one time, so I havent ragged it much, but i have noticed since i bought the car my axle sounds like shit...like when i go over a bump or turn it pops really loud, and sounds like it gonna come out...could this just be the boot? if my axle were bad what would happen?

check the boot, is it ripped, if it is its time for new ones. Its better to get new axels then fix the boot.

napa or discount where ever you get them from pull your old ones out take them with you to get the new ones

also check your control arm. your upper and/or lower ball joints could be shot.

mine were shot and souded like complete ass.. now i have new ones. got them for like 50 bucks a piece on ebay

1st how would i know if they're shot..and 2nd, im pretty sure its my axles and or cv boots cause the cv boots on BOTH sides are torn to shit..how hard is it to replace these.
