open headers bad for motor?
i put a header on my can today and at the same time fucked up my stock exhuast so i am running just a open dc sport header on my 90 integra
one of my friends saids its bad for the motor but i see people at the races with open header every weekend is it actualy bad or not?

not bad at all, they only way a open header could be bad is if ti was short enough to let cold air directly hit the hot valves not a good combo. but other than that it will run just as long as a car with a header.

well i dont recomend it not only does it sound like shit at low rpm's but you can bend the shit out of some valves, i say put your muffler back on, it will be safer and sound better plus you wont loose as much torque.
