Whats the best flywheel

Default Whats the best flywheel

Im looking for a lightweight flywheel clutch for a h22 .. Should i get the lightest flywheel that is 7.5lbs or should I get the strongest flywheel that is 12lbs

for the street use the heavier flywheel for easier starts. for a drag car go the lightest you can go. I've had a 12lbs in a b series, It was nice.

The best I have found so far is the Exedy. They come balanced and weigh in at 11.5lbs.
We have used them for the last 10 or so cars and no probelms at all.
I think we sell them for $240 , you might find them cheaper on whore buy somewhere.

I've always used Fidanza and never had a problem at all. 8.5 pounds and runs nicely on the street and the track.

I have a ACT prolite, 8.8 pounds, Its a little jumpy, but revs up fast and decelerates fast, Id recommend it to anyone.

My fidanza is very nice, Its wierd cause im not used to it. But, wouldnt your "off the line" torque go down with a lighter fly ?

chromoly 12lb or ITR 13lb all the aluminum ones are too lite

i love my fidanza at 8.5 lbs. ... installed in the h22 with 40k on the flywheel. ill never run a stock flywheel again .
