Ignition Problems
i just lowered my compression from 10.6 to 9.6. now that i did that the car does not want to turn on. i check the coil (good). i got distributor cap and rotor. i checked for spark to the head and it is also good. everything is on timing (timing belt, etc). i wanted to ask if i need more of an ignition spark to turn it on the the since it has lower compression. if not, any suggestions. thanks.
see if there are any codes in the computer. obd I or II?

try turning it over a few times and then smell the spark plug...see if it smells of fuel. if it does then there is obviously no spark. if it doesnt smell of fuel. its prolly your injectors or no fuel is getting to the injectors.
