it is a mother fucker if you don't have the right tools.... that bearing is in there. My best suggestion is to take the entire knuckle off and take it over to napa and have them press it out and then press in a new one. It is possible to hammer it out but VERY difficult without the right size tools. so its like 40 bucks for the part and however much it cost to press it out and press the new one back in.

+1

If you know the user "Bill" on the site, he has a press and might let you use it for a fee. Also, in the past I have just removed the hub (3 bolts and it's off) and brought it to Just Brakes here in St. Pete and they pressed a new one in for $20 bux. It was worth it for me. If you have a place for it, Harbor frieght has a 12 ton a-frame press for $99, then you could do it for your friends. Heck, charge em $20 a bearing and you made your money back right there. I'll let you know if I end up buying one, lol.

Also the search feature is a great feature of this site, best I've seen. This has been covered quite a few times among a multitude of other general automotive maintenance topics. Just remember this site has been around over 5 years, most things that will happen to your car aren't "Unique"

Here's the link to the press, cuz I'm felling nice today. 1 week vacation.
