Default ls vtec idle

i got my ls vtec running last night... only thing it idles at 2k sometimes 2.5k. any suggestions what to look for...im using a pr3 head and an early model jdm intake manifold(has the pgm-fi plate on it). i did try the idle screw on the throttle body and its turn all the way down. check the throttle body and it is not sticking... any suggestions?

Sounds like your leaking vacuum via a intake manifold gasket or throttle body gasket etc.
