HELP.....cooling system

Angry HELP.....cooling system

ok well here's the problem i have a 95 dx and the radiator fan dosent come on when its supposed to,it was happening b4 i swapped motors but was told the temp sensor might be causing it but i dought its the problem, so could it be the relay?i know its not the fan motor itself cause i can hook it str8 to the battery and i comes on so....i think its the relay but not really sure.any help is very very helpful.thanks-keith.

ok ill have to buy one this week but where would be the best place to pick one up at?honda dealer?

same thing happend to my crx. i just ran speaker wire from my clock inside the car to the fan. everytime the car is on so is the fan. keeps it cool at all times. works for me.......

yeh i had it hooked right to the battery but would like to solve the problem,but whats another easy way to wire it up so when the car is on the fan is on?thanks-keith

just run a wire to a Accessorie fuse or wire. So when the keys on the fan comes on.

If your going to do it this way just short the the two terminals on the plug on the back of the thermostat housing and the fan will come on when the car is on.

well if his relay is out.....which i highly doubt it is.....no one can sense my internet sarcasm...then that method would not work.....however that will work because i doubt his relay is gone.

well if my relay isnt out and my temp sensor isnt bad what else could be causing the fan not to come on when its supposed to?I think its my relay but i know pretty much nothing about the electrical shit on the car, and also my a/c dosent work sinceswapping motors any suggestions on that? if some one can get the fan shit figured out for me ill throw em' a few bucks.thanks-keith
