Can someone tell me what kinda starter i need for a B16A (JDM) and from what car it came from. b16a with a cable tranny (b18 ) if that helps? Blahhh pushin my car is fuckin homo...

 

? go to discount and buy one. they are EASY to replace

and integra would have the same part

 

get one for a 92 Integra.....they are like 150 with a lifetime warranty from pepboys

 

blah, son of a bitch.... people at discount auto were tellin me that a 96 or some shit like that with the b16a3 would work, but who the hell knows?

 

all bseries are the same you can get one from any 90-01 integra or delsol dohc vtec/99-00 si dohc vtec napa sells then for 112 with core

 

the ones for the hydro trannys only bolt up to one hole on the cable tranny.

 

you sure?cause im useing a 00 si starter on my 89 hatchback with cable tranny

 

well the one i got from 99 si one i got from napa the hole you can see was off just enough to where to bolt wouldnt go in.

 

well to make it simple....use the starter that goes to the tranny. not all b series parts match up the same... obviously. whatever year integra had the cable tranny i think its like 91-93 that is the starter you want. As for the others it's up in the air. Cables and hyrdos are different so try to keep the same parts when you are not sure.

EDIT: Although we havn't even checked with the guy to see if he is sure his starter is out.

 

i have 2 starters out of my 92 ls if they will fit you can buy one for cheap
