no, you need the serial number for that deck. Year of car doesn't matter. Just the serial number off the cd player, tape deck whatever.

this is correct. you just need the serial # for the deck you need the code for.

so.....if you dont have the deck, why would you need a code for it? so yeah, wtf do you need the code for then? or are you like getting the deck later or something and you just want the code first?

my after market cd player won't play sound thru the speakers. i have another integra and when i put the deck in it works. i had that problem in my other integra and when i put the factory deck back in and then put the code in and then put the cd player in it worked so im figureing thats what is wrong this time too.

The code only applies to the factory deck you are using, no other.

thats the problem i don't have the deck to enter the code. so there is no sound flowing thru the speakers.

check your wiring harness- the code has nothing to do with the wiring or speakers, just the OEM deck itself.

ok are you seeing a CODE on the face plate at all? Is this a honda/acura player? For whatever deck it is that you are getting and it is a factory honda radio/cd player you need the serial number off that player or deck. Get that get your code. Your code can be achevied from a honda official dealer. There are no try this code see if it works. Or hacks like some have mentioned on here. Its one serial number for one unique code or one of a kind. If you have the serial number pm me.
