home made d series turbo kit question
i am making my own d series turbo kit and i was wondering since i have a old rx7 intercooler lying around if i could use it the inlet is 1.75 inches and the outlet is 2.25 inches but here is my question i am mounting it in a good spot but the way i want to mount it makes the outlet part of the intercooler be forced to be the inlet coming off the turbo and the inlet on the intercooler has to be the outlet fot the intake manifold. Is this way too small and a dumb idea because of reverse sizes and will it be too restrictive?
here are some pics the long one is the stock inlet and the other is the outlet

Decent intercoolers are so cheap now days, that its not even worth wasting the money to use something so small.

Personally id go with a JRC or something of the like. I plan on running one when I turbo my car and for the price you really cant beat them. If you wanna go cheap cheap and stealth, a DSM sidemount could work too.
