Default No turbo, still problems....

We got the turbo kit off...took all of friday night and most of saturday morning lol. Only reason it took so long was because we had some issues with the oil pan. All was well until the next day when the car started bucking and died on me when I got across the courtney campbell.

ItsGinn came out and helped me get running again...we FINALLY believe we traced down the problem. We started the car and messed around with every wire under the hood to try and recreate the problem...turns out it was the injector wires connected to the resistor box. We moved one of them around and the car died. I'm gonna get some stock injectors back in and get rid of the box..hopefully all my problems will be solved.

P.S. Open downpipe is very loud

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

Ive told you and told you man, you need to eliminate that box.. there is no need for the resistor box when running stock OBDI honda injectors... even if the injectors you have ARE OBDI prelude injectors, your car would still run a hell of a lot better without that damn box.... That box is the root of all evil in your possesed car my friend...

I was not aware that high impedance (read saturated) injectors could be run off a resistor pack.

Anyhow, he was missing injector clips to boot, so cyl 4 was getting an intermittent pulse signal if that. So on occasion, it's safe to say he was running on three cylinders. I pulled the harness and it really isn't that bad, the harness is factory wired to the resistor pack. There were a few crimped connections for various block sensors which were soldered. Everything seems to be running without an issue at this point. SEEMS, lol.

He's ready in my opinion to go ahead with Hondata at this point. He'll need slightly larger injectors in the near future anyway, so it is my opinion that he should either commit to low impedance or swap the harness. That's his call, hondata works either way.

Go with hondata its gonna fix all your problems...
Right, and so does a vtec inside sticker.

What is so hard about trashing the resistor box, doing minor rewiring & running SATURATED high imp. injectors ?
