Default Too much oil pressure to the turbo

Has anyone found a solution to the this problem on hondas caused by the rediculous oil pressure that they produce? The car makes so much pressure that the oil is being pushed through the seals in the turbo. I know now that it's not the seals in the turbo because this is a brand new one and I've already called turbonetics and they agree that the oil pressure is too high for the turbo. I used a nitrous jet in line on the feed line on the last turbo and that caused the turbine side to burn up because the oil passing the jet was constant and did not increase as the boost and rpm did. The trubo does not smoke but I get that fresh oil in the exhaust smell when I stop. I can live with that smell and the occasional puff of smoke on start up but I'm more worrried about the oil pushing through the seals on the compressor side because it sits in my intake and gets sucked through intercooler and plmbing and eventually into the combustion chamber which I hear does a number to the fuel ratio. At this level of boost detonation is not acceptable. I've thought of trying to use a fuel pressure regulator and using the the return as a bypass back to the oil pan. Has anyone ever tried this? I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

i have seen lots of people use the nitrous jet trick, what size of jet were you using??

also what size line are you feeding the turbo with??

i feed mine with a -3an and have had no problems with any seals breaking so far. you could always use the old, increase line diameter size to lower the pressure in the line, but it wouldnt be much.

i havent seen any type of oil regulating system before

Can't you use an oil pressure regulator?(Not sure if thats what they are called or not I remember reading a post on homemadeturbo.com about oil pressure etc.)

Yes that is what they call them but I can't seems to find one. Would you know where I could get one? Turbonetics suggested a tilton regulator but I can't find such a thing. They called it a remote oil pressure regulator.

I am not sure who sells them, but just google it you should find something. Does your return line have a kink in it? Or maybe its at a bad angle. I would check your return line to make sure that its doing its job (could even be that your return line is too small so its pumping more oil in then its draining).

what size return line are you using, I had a similar problem where my return line was too small, and due to the large amount of presure I smoked alot, just a thought

no not a return line issue. that had been addressed in the past and fixed. the turbo does not smoke like i said. it's slowly leaking past the seals. Very slowly. all I'm really worried about is the oil seeping past on the compressor side because I don't want oil going into the combustion chamber and mixing with the air and fuel.

If there is oil in your charge pipes, its time to have your turbine taken apart to replace the seals....

Umm yeah stunna. He already did that. He wants some help in keeping that from happening again.

I know you said the return was fine and I looked at it while we were on the dyno, but what size is it and what feed are you running?

You need an oil inlet restrictor.
