Civic SI for a mullet?
I will soon be commuting from New Tampa to the VA hospital in St. Pete. Unfortunately, the B4C wont want to travel that route everyday for the 100+ mile commute. I need something with good gas milage.
Im looking into a civic SI. I think the color is EPB? what years were those made, and what motors were availible?

The coupe was 99-01' and the minibus is 02' and up. 99-01 have b16a2 and the ep mini bus has 2.0 I-vtec, forgot code...

minibus is the new hatch that looks like a rounded mini school bus....The coupe has the b16a2 as said above and gets a shitload of gas per gallon...Would be a good "slow" daily driver.

If you want gas mileage get a SOHC Civic EX,DX,LX whichever. Better gas mileage than the SI.

It's actually 99 and 00 only, 01+ are the ugly hatches (no more Si Coupe). The paint is referred to as "EBP" Which is Rice for Electron Blue Pearl. If you look around you should be able to find one for $15. My Girl just traded one in for a 99CL at Hills Auto Mart, So I'm sure they've fully detailed it ETC. Check with them and see if they still have it, it was Extremely well maintained and was never raced, riced or modified. She got around 38mpg city with it. (No Joke) Only used 93+ oct. I hope for you that they still got it, not many unraped EBP Si's around.
