92 Honda Prelude Si (Non-VTEC)
I have a question about a certain car thats near me for a decent price. Its a 1992 Honda Prelude Si with 142,xxx miles on it and I was wondering if I would have any problems. Its had a tune-up, all belts changed, and all the power options work, only thing is no AC cause the compressor is messed up, I don't use AC anyways...
Are there any problems on the 92 Si's that will steer me away from it? Its an automatic (its gonna basically be a daily driver for a year or so). Anyone have input? I'm going to get the VIN today and run it to see if it has a clean title.
I'll check this thread after class around 1PM so if anyone wants to hit me up on AIM with any info = SkurrednConfuzed.
Thanks.

if it has been well maintained its good to go. mileage on a well maintained motor mean jack crap, it could still be in the break in fase lol, and no there is nothing to steer you away from it, hondas are the best!...
just you gotta know, whos had it before. and check the oil, fluids, check the breaks see if they look fairly new, check anything you feel you need to check to see the maintanance on it...take off the oil cap, and look inside the valve cover, see if it looks discolored or a dark color.

Thanks guys. The car only had one owner and she traded it in when it needed new breaks. I've got the guys assurances that its a good car and maybe later on when I get some cheese I'll end up swapping it and making it a manual too, but for now I just need a decent daily driver.
Thanks for the info and help.
