Default Solid Cel

dont work on to many obd1 cars jumped the plug to check the CEL code but light is solid. would this mean bad ecu??

any help would be appriciated

A solid cell generally meens the ecu is bad or the eprom is not being read etc.

Unless before jumping, the check engine light is off. Then you jump the connector and it stays solid too.
