nitrous upgrades....
I am looking to put a good nos setup on my 01 accord 4cyl. Any of you guys have some suggestions? Here is what I was looking at:
-NOS wet kit w/ rpm window switch
-Upgrade to a Walbro 255lph fuel pump...( not sure on weather to do a inline or intank)
-possibly a je piston upgrade from stock pistons
-440cc injectors
Is there anything else I should do??
Some help on weather to use a inline or a intank fuel pump would be appreciated!
Thanks

wow you really wanna pull your 01' accord apart?? is isnt necessary at all.
realistsicly the car is not going to be a racecar so spraying anything more than a 75 shot is not going to do yo much good.
with a shot anywhere from 50-75 you should be thoroughly impressed at the power and the torque from the big sohc in the accord.
however i do not recommend a window switch to to early activation of the kit. window switches dont operate off of WOT, or full throttle, they only operate off of rpm signal, so you could be at 2 percent throttle or 100% throttle but either way it gettin sprayed........bad idea.
use a NOS microswitch or a ZEX WOT switch(these are sold as seperate units now and can be used for allkinds of shit) these guarantee that you will only spray at 100% throttle.
i would go a step colder on plug and only use regular NGK plugs, get some good gas, pull 1 degree of timing, do a standard tuneup, such as wires, rotor and cap.
and you should be good 2 go.
you do not need a huge pump for the level of nitrous you plan to use, the factory one is fine. nor should you need any pistons or rods,

I am looking at 100 shot. I have a friend that is spraying that on his 98 accord and has done fine the past 3 years. He has the inline walbro and je pistons.
when i said rpm window switch i meant the one that only sprays at WOT. sorry for the confusion.

If you are planning on running a wet shot, you don't need bigger injectors. it sounds like your going wet because of the window switch. you won't need it with a dry kit. I would also recommend a bottle warmer and a wideband o2 sensor. with the wideband you can tune the nitrous to a heathy A/F ratio.
Should I do this nitrous setup or should I save up for a turbo?? Anyone know a good place around brandon to have a turbo setup done??
