Default settings for the old apexi avc-d

Anybody know the dip settings for a honda? Apexi nolonger lists or carries instructions for it. Any info would be welcomed!

Thanx

I'll take whatever you've got. As far as I know there's only one site that has anything about it. That's a japan site. Apexi usa nolonger has any more instructions and apexi japan wont answer my emails. The japanies guy sold his so he dosen't have the instructions any more but list the wiring on his site.

I had the same problem but this is what worked on the eclipse. it should work in a honda. 1,3,6,7 are on(down) and the rest are off(up). I hope this helps. keep triing to get ahold of apexi. I don't know what wire was the speed sensor, so the speed/boost("spd" knob) setting didn't work but everything else worked fine. scb is for scramble boost, hook the green(i think) to a switched ground. when the switch is flipped the boost will goto whatever the "scb" knob is set at. I don't have the harness in front of me just the box. the car is in storage.

Here are the color codes: black (-), red(+),yellow(boost scramble*ground to turn on*), green(rpm), and purple(speed sensor). Here are the settings that were used on the japan site on=1 off=0: 10100110. (101) the first seem to be key in getting the controller to work. The controller will let you know if you have a functional combo by lighting up like 1,2,3,4,5 then 5,4,3,2,1 at night . I guessing they used some kind of 8-bit micro process that reads the dip setting and only a certain combo is valid. <= I'm writing this so others who do a search will know cause I don't think apexi will ever come throught with instrictions. Thanx for the setting I 'll try them tonight.

Oh here's other "valid" codes: 10110100,10100100
