Default Torque Specs

In the middle of doing the headgasket on my LS, what are the torque specs on the head? I'm on my incredibly slow 56k labtop, and it takes 2 years to search the net so if someone could tell me how many ft-lbs to torque it to, i would greatly appreciate it.. Thanks guys!

start from the middle and work your way out. And those specs are in differnt sequences.(just in case you didn't know) like first sequence would be 19lbs, second would be 22lbs.. etc..

i always do 3 sequences. one at 25 second at 50 then 3rd at 65-75 depending on the type of bolts/studs used. a couple ft/lbs doesnt make a difference just make sure the sequence is done correctly

Did you at least have the head resurfaced before putting it back together? Also be very careful with the ls cam cap bolts. Don't try to use a torque wrench if the lowest setting is more than 2 ft/lbs or you will probably snap them off in the head. Use an in/lbs 1/4 or 3/8 torque wrench.

Ehh, I say we both get wasted, and then do the headgasket, that would actually make it fun
