HAve you messed with your IACV before? Doing stuff like that isnt good. you should try to find out what the problem is and fix it the proper way. Not trying to be a dick or anything. Does the idle go down after warm-up? Any idle jumping?

home depot washers work great... just kidding...

If your idle is that high, there is an issue with your setup somewhere... sounds like a vacuum leak.

+1 on the vacuum leak- buy some "brake-clean", spray it around the engine bay, and see if the idle picks up even more when you spray in different areas. do small areas at a time- under the intake mani, behind the throttle body, and check the intake mani. gasket.

check your throttle cable . it might be to tight. i dont feel its a vacume leak because if the throttle plate is closed the ecu would be going into injector . i think the throttle plate are cracked so the ecm sees it as pushing the gas.

Does the idle stay at 2300 or does it surge up and down?

What work has been done to the engine?
