hey guys, i just got exhaust bent for me today, but my buddy who bent it, had broken the 2.5 pipe die a day before hand and hadn't gotten a chance to get a new one yet. so I ended up with 2.25 crush bent pipe. now i'm sure this is fine for my b16a3 but for my turbo I am not sure if it will be.
my goal is 250whp will this be big enough pipe for it?

i think alot of people run 2 1/2 to 3 inch on turbo cars but it all depends on ur setup all cars are different

drag manifold to a precision sc50 .48 hot .60 cold snail...i believe the opening on the turbo is 2.25.... so since out of the turbo it is only 2.25 i can't imagine needing bigger on the exhaust

Personally, I would run atleast 2.5 inch exhaust.
I run a 2.5 inch d/p to a 3 inch thermal exhaust.
Try out the 2.25 and see what numbers you make on it, then go from there.

2.25" CRUSHED?!?!?! NO.
Just imagine, anywhere a 2.25" pipe is crush bent, it makes it 2" or smaller... That will make your turbo seem laggy as hell, and you will probably make a lot less power than you should..... I would at least do 2.5" mandrel bent, but I would prefer 3"...

Although I ran a crush bent 2.25" on my old setup, because I was lazy. My downpipe was 2.5" mandrel, so that made up for it when I wanted to go out and play.
Anything less then 2.5" is going to be very restrictive. Once you start making ~250whp, it might be time to upgrade to a 3".

i would get as large as you can and as mandrel as you can, with a .48 you honestly on a B16 not see much lag at all, but i would recommend getting at least a 2.5 inch if you could 3 inch but i know it is a little more costly
