Install question

I just got a aem cam gear for my accord, how much would I expect to pay to get it installed? What would be the most you would pay to get it installed? Thanks

DIY (Do It Yourself). Its not hard at all.

pay nothing. just go buy a haynes or helms manuel. save money and learn something new..

yeah dont waste ur money on something so simple as maybe 6 bolts for ur vavle cover and then i think 12-16 for the cam....and its cake

If you've never worked on a car before, putting this on yourself might be a bad idea. If you install that thing improperly you can ruin your head. Bending valves is not fun.

Doing this the right way, would cost you about 120 bucks to install I would imagine. Because you have to remove the timing cover, etc. and it's not a quick and easy process.

Doing this the ghetto way, just pulling off the cam sprocket, and wedgine the belt against the firewall ( been there, done that ), everything can be complete w/in 30 mins.

Although it's the ghetto way, and you run the risk of stretching your timing belt, etc.
