>First off i have a question about the arp head studs for a b18a1. when installing i have seen the ones that have the allen key in the top but these do not have that so my question is on the installation.

Should i use anything on the threads to keep them in the block or is that not a good idea?

When i am putting them in do i just put two of the nuts together and tighten them toghter to use as a head for the torque wrench.

>The other question is for tapping a pan for an oil return line.

Where in the pan, should it be more towards the top of the pan or more towards the bottom or somewhere in the middle?

1st question- put them on hand tight or put 2 bolts on the thread. Tighten the bolts against each other, and the tightne the stud with the top bolt.

2nd quesition- As top as possible
