Default Steering wheel shaking..

Can someone help me fix my ride? I have a '96 accord dropped on hks springs and tokico shocks. When I take turns, I thought I would be able to corner better, but the car still feels like it's leaning to one side. Also, when I accelarate and reach a certain speed my steering wheel shakes. I hate it!!! Could it be my rims? If so, any place where I can get it fix? Also, could my shocks be blown since it dosen't corner so well? Please help .. Thank you.

i had similar problem with my 92 jetta on the cornering. i had neuspeed racing springs on blown shocks in all 4 corners lol

the shaking at cartern/high speed could be your tires, they are possibily uneven due to camber wear and or from peeling out

for the cornering issue, I am assuming that shocks are new too...if not, you may have blown them.
Also, Just to make sure though, is your car cornering a little better, same or worst before your install? The only reason that I am asking is because, you may have expected too much for the setup and everything is working within specs. If your looking for some more ways to help with aggressive cornering, then look for replacing your stock sway bar bushing / end links ($30-$50) with some polyurethanes and if you don't have a rear sway ($150-$190)...try installing that. That may help you find the cornering your looking for...

but for the high speeds shacking, definitely check the tires first...cheapest thing is to do

1) take tires off one at a time (just do a tire rotation...they need to be done anyway...assuming you don't have larger tires in the back)
2) check for bad camber wear or tire warp
-- if their bad, replace them
-- if they are all good, check the pressue (read side of your tires for recommended tire psi). Get all the tires within +/- 2psi of each other

3) if they all look good or if they are bad..then have them re-balanced and check alignment it could be tow or caster problems (probably $50-$90 max for both balance & check alignment..just look around)
--NOTE: if they have to fix your alignment..put on a camber kit or whatever, that will be more..

i have a camber kit at the front but it still seems like the tires are rubbing on the inside after getting it aligned and all... Could it be the rims are bent? If so, where can I get this fix? Thanks for the reply..

n00b da n00b da n00b iest post ive ever read ! Shacking Wheel = BALANCE YOUR TIRES ! Or stop launching it so hard and looseining the Steerig column If its a Tilt Wheel You could have loosend or broken the pins that hold it.

Cornering well springs do shit alone. Get Struts that match/ compliment the Spring rebound, get heavy duty Sways and Bushings as well as upper and lower Strut braces, rear lower tie bar and you should be sliding instead of leaning.

That is all nothing else needs to be said !

Just check your tire pressure, wheel balance, and tire wear. From what you posted....you didn't do an alignment so you probly should get a camber kit put on your car and get it aligned. Also check your shocks/struts. Jack your car up. Push up on the tire. If it moves up really easy you shocks/struts are blown. Really easy fix if you ask me.

He has a camber kit he had an alignment Youll never compress a spring by hand so the jack it up and push the wheel crap is stupid. He either A has Bad tires or has a bad balance. This is what i do Trust me !

if your tie rods are bad it will always shake..jack it up and see if you have any play in the tire from side to side and up and down..if it has play from side to side its the tie rods if its top to bottom its the main hub bearing
