Well i finally deciced to so what broke on my car. Well it was not as bad as i thought. I guess? Well the drivers side Stage 5 driveshaft.com axel thats good for 500+hp broke the outer joint clean off and also broke 2 out of 3 bearings on the inner joint. I now have a $700 axle thats in pieces. Hopefully i can order new parts for it and rebuild it or i'm stuck with a replacing it. Those axles are $1400 for the set. I dont want to keep breaking them.I guess i'm the plus on the 500+hp they can hold. 30lbs of boost and 7k launch=broken stage 5 axle.:bbb:

I think Jason has stage 4's but i'm not sure. They dont get much bigger unless you spend over 2 grand. The DR's hopped on me when i hit second. I think that is what broke it. Probably going to sell them and buy 26x10 slicks. I've decided to sell the quaiffe and put a spool in it. I'm also going to just replace the ring gear. I dont want to take anymore chances. I wasnt to happy with my last time at the track.

I just got off the phone with Frank at Driveshaft.com. He told me to send in the old set of axles and $600 and they will upgrade me to the new Level 5 800hp axles. He told me they will hold up to a 26 inch slick. If i want to run 28 inch slicks then i will need the 1,000hp set. I'm happy with that. I will be sending them out soon.

You have a GSR tranny correct???? And you are selling the Quaife for your GSR tranny??? And I have a GSR tranny???
