Cam power theory...

Say we have a cam with adv duration of 244I/228E and a gross lift of 384I/370E
We upgrade this factory cam to have specs of 246/230 and 393/369
Assuming everything else is equal, how much power would one expect to gain? 2-4bhp is my guess.
Does anyone have any good theory math with this type of thing? Im doing a mild cam swap.

With this mild of a setup it would be nearly an identical band. It would allow the head to breathe a little better, it would move things up maybe 200rpm. Nothing major, and probably minimally noticable on teh dyno. I was just curious if anyone know as far as the theory behind it.

I don't think you understood the reason of this post. I have the cam layin around, so Im going to use it.
This post was made to see if anyone knew about the theory behind duration and lift, and how they affected power. If so, I'd like to get some of that knowledge.

is it gonna be worth it to swap a cam with such lil change? i dont see it being much of a change
