Default motor swap questions

I want to know what would be a good swap for my civic. I have been searching around and keep coming up with different answers. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

It is going to be a daily driver. The motor that i was thinking about was a cr-vtec. But i have heard different things and wasn't sure what i should do. So if anyone has any ideas that would be great. Thanks

If you aren't going to be doing it yourself I wouldn't recommend that swap. Hybrids aren't great for first swaps, unless you know how to fix it yourself. Things go wrong and you have to factor in what you've done to the motor. I say get either a b16 or LS motor. They pack a nice punch and aren't too messy.
