how much shaving do u have to do to the head to get 11:1 compression ratio from 10.6:1? i daily drive so i dont really have the time to put type s pistons. i have an extra head so im thinking of doing something to it.

I've gone as far as .040 .. so at .030 you will still have some room for error.. with .030 and oem gasket you should be fine.

yep. that's what adj timing gears are for. depending on what motor that ya have, it might like the cam timing retarded that much though. just get the gears so you can set the valve timing where ya want
