Default Uberdata Tuning

I've only got i/h/e but am planning on a cam (zex stage 1 for torque purposes), cam gear, throttle body. can uberdata work on an auto tranny? (i'm keepin it auto) if so, will i see any major gains or just minimal since its all motor. i was considering a vafc but i've heard bad things bout it that its not reliable and not worth the money. with uberdata, i know i'd need the obd2 - obd1 converter harness and a p28 ecu that is chipped. then what? just get it tuned with uberdata? thanks

You are going to need a custom OBD2-1 conversion harness for the automagic to work properly in OBD1. Plus many of the auto functions controlled in the OBD2 ecu are not present on the OBD1 tranny.

Save your money & do an auto to manual conversion along with a DOHC swap
