ok after breaking the hazard button and the rear defroster button i got the climate control out of my new ITR dash now i need help on how to get those buttons out of my old dash without breaking them :bbb:

Look at the console and switch assemblies. I am pretty sure that they are press fit in there. And each switch assembly slides out towards the front of the console. There should be some depressable tabs on both sides of the switch assembly.

 

i tried to get to the tabs but it didnt work?

 

OK, the buttons that you are trying to get, are they currently in the old dash's climate control unit?? Is that unit still in the old dash. If so, remove it and use a flat-head screwdriver to depress the tabs, one side at a time. I hope this makes sense. If not, then post up some pics of what exactly you are working with.

 

the old buttons got broke into like 1000 pieces when i tried to take them out. im just not gonna worry bout it, the car is for sale. the next owner can mess with it. thanks for the help though
