I had a machine shop press some type R pistons and arp rod bolts on my stock gsr rods. However when i tried to install the rods I had a really tough time getting the caps to slide onto the new bolts. Is there anything else i need to do to fit them properly??? The only way i could get them to fit is to tap one side then another over and over again and thats the way it would slide on there. Once it slides on there they are really hard to separate. It seems in a way that the rod bolts arent straight or something. Any suggestions???? Please respond cause I really want to do this right.
