Engine Upgrade Question

Ok, so I am getting the following for my GSR - Skunk2 Stage 2 Cams, JE Pistons & Rings, and Eagle Rods.....my question is....

It says to upgrade the valvetrain with the cams, is it a priority, or does it really matter? I have the money for that stuff, just not the extra 800 for the valve stuff. Let me know what you think, or if I should get the stage 1 cams instead.

if you don't,,,, and you float a valve you'll be sorry then you'll be spending more than 800... if you are gonna do it.. just do it right the first time

oh i plan on doing it right, but i didnt know if that is just skunk2 saying it to get you to buy there stuff

for 450bucks at tompsons you can get highpressur dualvalve springs TT retainers AND SS valves good for 12.3mm lifts and 12.5K rpms
