and why would that be??? you can spend the same money, and sleeve an LS block to 84.5mm, and be exactly the same again...

Either way, stock for stock LS is better/stronger... We were not talking about sleeving, but since you brought it up, you could sleeve either one 84.5mm and they would be the SAME...

So your saying that the perfect setup would be a b20 block with a ls head, but with b20 valves, and a ls intake cam, sleeved to 84.5mm.... Right??

I guess the best question to ask now is should I find an LS head then? or Since the b20 head is already on should I just leave it?

Leave it and buy a bare LS intake mani., swap all your stuffs over.. and call it a day....

You can get power out of just about any motor with the right combination of internals, and tuning... with tuning being probably the #1 thing.....

internals depend on n/a or boost and your power goals. if your on a budget then go with the ls and dont sleeve it. you can make plenty of power for what it is. you should really look into this further. there is more info on this subject than you could ever want to know.
