the owner is a friend of a friend.... he is going to charge about 500 to rebuild second gear if i take out the tranny myself.... thats pretty good isnt???

go to neal sutton if he wants the work... i know he does a freaking great job and he is a stand up guy

500 for just second gear and takign it out yourself is not a fantastic deal give neal a call....someone post his number up or his name i don't have it on me.

 

ballfield how much do you think he would charge??.. and whenever you get the chance man i would really aprreciate the number.. trust me its to sad to drive without a second gear and if i could save some money with this kat atleats i have money to put gas in my car to get home, if you kow what i mean

 

same problem....changed the fluid, and that didn't help.........gm syncromesh hepls alot.....getting mine rebuilt for $200

 

just to replace the syncro or the whole gear?

 

i got the rebuild kit....i might need the syncro depending what he says and second gear.....there was no metal shavings in the fluid......plus i am good friends with the mechanic
