just wanted to know if anyone has ever had a problem with thier boost gauge being wrong????

we put hondata on my car this past weekend, and i am still running the stock MAP (11.75psi) and i ran 14psi today cause of my shitty check valve and i didnt trip the MAP???????????

could my gauge be off??? or wrong, cause i know it read 14psi, and i know hondata would have caught that if it really was 14psi, cause i didnt get any type of boost cut.

and i didnt trip a MAP check engine light

anyone had a problem with autometer gauges being off

mine was off about 2psi at higher boost levels, when the gauge said i was running 17psi the aem was saying 15psi. why dont u datalog it?

 

i havent had a chance yet, but i am, i was just bringing the car home and desided WTF, just run some boost thru it, but i put a little check valve in there and took the MBC out so i wouldnt go crazy, and it took 14psi, so i was like hmmmmm WTF over!

so i think my boost gauge is off, i know that hondata would have caught it................................uberdata did.................ha

 

crap i just bought a autometer boost guage

 

and my injectors!!!!!!

with hondata unless its set up for a boost cut at 11psi you wont get one when i first got my hondata i was never told you can only run 11psi on the stock map sensor and i was running like 15-16 psi so there is a good chance your boost guage is accurate
